Tax-holiday Weekend, 2024
Massachusetts has designated Saturday & Sunday, August 10 & 11,
as 2024's tax-holiday weekend.
The weekend's tax-exemption applies to any item list priced at $2,500
or below. However, at Alpers Gallery we've arranged with some of our artists
to reduce the price of these eight paintings to $2,500, for August 10 & 11 only.
That way, they qualify for the weekend's tax-exemption.

them at the reduced price of $2,250 each, exclusively on 8/10 and 8/11.
Combine that $150 savings with the sales tax saved on the usual price of $2,400,
also $150, and you're saving $300 -- tax-exempt weekend only -- if you purchase any one
of the 11 paintings shown below. Purchase any two and save $600, etc.

For the tax-holiday weekend only, photographer Kathleen McCarthy
is reducing by 20% the price of the first eight aluminum prints shown
below in Gallery Three. She's discounting one slightly scratched print
(the King Penguin) by 33%.

For the weekend of August 10 and 11 only, sculptor Charles Gibbs is discounting all of his
three-dimensional work. With one exception, all pieces in Gallery 4 are discounted this weekend
by 20%.
