Stellar Streams, the artist has written:
"Stellar streams, I've learned, are trailing ribbons of stars that move through space,
held together by wisps of gravity from a larger host.
"I love to wonder that something we know and love so well, the familiar flowers
in our yards and parks, could be a bridge for thinking about/experiencing something
so incomprehensible as space...that the very same physical patterns and structures
we see within a flower might exist on a macrocosmic scale, in a nebula."
